A two minute walk from the houses takes you to the world famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on the slopes of Table Mountain. A two hour walk from the house would take you to the summit of the mountain. Nature lovers would be hard pressed to find a better place from which to explore the beauty of South Africa's natural flora.
The nearest beach is the picturesque fishing village of Hout Bay which is a 15 minute drive away. Cape Town and its Waterfront, and the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway, are also only a 15 minute drive away. The variety of cultivars now being grown in the Constantia Valley will not disappoint the most serious of quaffers. Most famous of these is the Vin de Constance served by Louis XIV at the Palace of Versailles and also enjoyed by Napoleon whilst in exile on the Island of St Helena.
Golf courses, tennis, bowls and fitness clubs are nearby. Not only has Constantia always been famous for its wines, there are also a number of excellent eateries within a short drive of Klein Bosheuwel.

From Cape Town International Airport
Take N2 to Cape Town. As you approach the mountainside, take the M3 Turn-off to Muizenberg.
Travel 4km to first set of traffic lights and turn right onto M63/Rhodes Ave. to Kirstenbosch/Hout Bay.
After 1.7 km you will pass a small stone church (Church of the Good Shepherd) on your left, and immediately afterwards the main entrance to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on your right (big lawns).
Carry on up the hill to the T-junction and turn right towards the mountainside.After 400m the road bends left, and immediately after the pedestrian crossing turn sharp left into Klaassens Road.
300m along on your right is the entrance to 51A Klein Bosheuwel (immediately after Ridge Walk).
From Cape Town V&A Waterfront
Follow signboards to Muizenberg / S.Suburbs / Airport N2.
As you near 'Hospital Bend' - a sharp turn downhill to the left where the freeway divides - take the right-hand lanes signposted 'Muizenberg M3' (the left-hand lanes are for N2/Airport).
